I'm Back! ~ An update ~

Well, hi there!! It's been a while, hasn't it? After much thought, and some inspiration (always a good thing for a "frustrated perfectionist!) I have decided to blog over here again!! Myspace will always be a great place for pictures, and I will probably put some blogs over there still, but I think this will be a fun place to really get stuff "out there". And a place for those "non-myspace"ers out there. ;-)

So what's going on with us?

Mika Christine joined us on August 7th, 2007 and is now almost 6 months old!! She is probably the most perfect baby ever! (I'm not biased or anything) She is a really mellow, easy baby. She's been sleeping through the night since she was 3 weeks old (Yes you read that right!). We are very blessed that breasfeeding has gone awesome, she is not colicy, or very fussy or anything of that nature! We've only had to deal with two things healthwise with her. The biggest thing is that she gets these weird gaspy things a couple times a month. We took her to the ER back in November when it first happened and they gave us an inhaler. Then yesterday we took her to urgent care 'cause it happened really bad. That dr has no idea what it was, but said to stop the inhaler because she's not coughing or weezing. He thinks they gave it to me because they didn't trust my discription of what she was doing. *eye roll* We are trying to switch to a pedatrition from our Family Practitioner because of all this. The other thing is that she was born with hip displacia. It has been corrected with a pavlic brace that she wore from 3week until 4 months. We have an x-ray in February to make sure the correction held.
